Description
Protect Your Idea Quickly with a Custom-Built, Inventor-Guided Provisional Patent Application
The Inventor-Guided Provisional Patent Application combines your own description of your invention with a proprietary drafting framework I’ve developed over many years of preparing provisional and non-provisional patent applications. Instead of a generic automation tool, your invention is organized into a structured, professionally aligned format that reflects the way I draft filings for inventors, startups, and engineering teams—without the cost of a full-service engagement.
After checkout, you’ll receive a one-time use document ID via email. You’ll use this code, along with your invention description, on the Provisional Patent Invention Submission Form.
Once submitted, your description is processed through my customized drafting framework, which transforms your information into a fully structured provisional patent application in Word DOCX format—complete with background, summary, detailed description, and claims sections aligned to your specific invention. A completed Engagement Letter is generated at the same time. These documents are typically delivered to you by email in about 30 minutes.
You (the inventor) then review and refine the draft, including adding any figures or diagrams you want included. Once the application is ready, I will file it for you with the USPTO under this inventor-guided service. At that time, we will confirm whether you qualify for small-entity or micro-entity status, and the required USPTO filing fee will be invoiced separately. For more in-depth drafting, claim development, or drawing creation, a separate premium full-service engagement is available.
